The Origin of Autistic Guide to the Galaxy®
Autistic Guide to the Galaxy® (AGTTG) was created to address a gap in accessible, relevant resources for autistic adults. Born from a passion for psychology and personal experience, AGTTG aims to provide educational and supportive resources to the autistic community.
Although AGTTG is not a traditional business, it is a self-funded, personal project created out of a desire to help others. The platform combines psychological insights, personal experience, and a commitment to sharing valuable information, while remaining focused on offering practical support to autistic individuals.
Building from the Ground Up
Launched in 2022, AGTTG is a non-profit, self-funded project that operates without external investment or funding. It was created as a personal project to share knowledge and resources, rather than as a profit-driven business. The aim has always been to help the autistic community by providing high-quality, helpful content.
By 2024, AGTTG had grown to reach over 1.7 million views, creating a space for autistic adults to connect and learn. While the platform has grown, it continues to operate as a passion project, driven by the founder’s desire to support the community.
The Game-Changer: Otik Academy™
In 2025, AGTTG launched Otik Academy™, a subscription-based eLearning platform tailored for autistic adults. Otik Academy covers topics such as autism, mental health, life skills, and self-help, designed to empower individuals with strategies for navigating life authentically. Despite its subscription model, Otik Academy remains focused on providing support, rather than commercial gain.
The Mission Continues
AGTTG continues to evolve, with ongoing research and feedback from the community driving its development. The platform remains dedicated to filling gaps in support, and while it is self-funded and operates without profit as its main goal, it provides valuable resources that are meaningful and relevant to autistic adults.
